i dont remember any decisions ive rushed into. usually i dont have to make big decisions im not burdened by anything like that. also when i have to make a decision most of the time i know what im going to do from the beginning. since this time im sure im first i dont think im going to comment because that takes more effort than needed.
Most of the time, I’m a big believer in no regrets. Mostly because if you had changed something from the past, life would not be the way it is today. The only situations I can think of are when I’m debating and I often have to make quick decisions and arguments. Often I make decisions really fast and sometimes regret my decisions. I often speak without a filter and I tend to not care what other people think. But when it comes to important decisions, I usually go see my parents about it. They give good advice and so does my brother. That’s all I can think of right now to be honest.
I’m sure I've made more than one rushed decision before but I don't think the decision was for something big. I don’t remember anything specifically so I think everything went well. I always take as long as I can to decide something big and I think that’s important. I’m sure I will face much bigger and more important decisions in the future and believe you should always weigh out the pros and cons to everything.
I agree about the pros and cons list. When you have an organized list I think it helps in the decision making because your thoughts are clearer and you can see the weight of your options before you make your decision. Great Blog!
My decision that I chose to talk about was when I pre ordered Pitch Perfect 3 back when it wasn't even on iTunes Store. The Pitch Perfect franchise is my favourite series of movies OF ALL TIME! Before buying, I saw the movie in theatres twice and downloaded all of the albums from the original sound track on Spotify. Even though I did all of those things before buying the movie I still rushed into the decision because the movie WASN'T EVEN ON iTUNES STORE YET! I will never regret that decision and I now have all of the three movies downloaded on my iPad mini.
one decision I made quickly was cutting my hair. I do not really regret it but I made the decision overnight and it could have turned out as a mistake. I do not think you should think about things for too long unless it is something permanent like a tattoo. even if I hated my hair it would just grow back
Me too! Cutting hair isn't that big of a deal since it will grow back, however getting a tattoo is something that you should think about a little longer since it is permanent.
When I have to make a big decision, I often sit down and make a pros and cons list. I know it probably sounds stupid, but it helps me. But when I have to make a decision right then and there, that's when trouble starts. I feel pressured and stressed and don't think things through. So I just choose something and regret it later. As an example, once I got money for my birthday and I spent it all at once on something I really wanted. Now I look back and see how stupid that was. Even though I really wanted that thing, I should have saved my money. Anyway, long story short, I save my money from now on because it's the smart thing to do (for me).
I don't remember the last big decision that i made because I don't like to make them because they usually stress me out. one thing that I always rush on is when I pack before going camping. being stressed before going to sleep in the forest is not a good thing and it always happens to me, I always feel that i forgot something usually that is not the case but it is always in the back of my mind that I will either have no food or I will have to sleep on the ground.
i have probably rushed into a few desicions in my day, but i am usually the type to overthink things so it is not something I do very often, at least when it comes to big desicions. It is important to think things through because if you do not you and your husband will both kill yourselves due to a miscommunication.
A huge decision that I rushed into too fast was getting bangs. It was fun at first and people thought that it was a great style on me etc. But having curly hair made it annoying and not so fun. I had to straighten my bangs every morning which took up a lot of time and the heat from my straightener was just damaging my hair. It is really important to think things through before going through with a big decision because my big decision was cutting my hair but it will grow back. For someone else their decision might be worse or bigger. Even if it was terrible at the time I don't think I would go back and not get bangs because it was an experience and I'm happy I did it in high school rather than do it when I'm an adult and then realize I screwed up bad.
I am not usually the type of person to make a decision without thoroughly thinking things through beforehand. I’m sure there was a time I actually did make a bad decision because I rushed into things, but I can’t think of any examples at the moment. It's important to think about the effects your choice could have on the future and stuff when making big decisions.
It honestly never happens that I have to make a big decision that I rush. The only thing i can think of was my class selection last year. I had to choose what elective to take but only started thinking about it the day before. I still made the right decision and wasnt really stressed about it. I probably should have thought it through more though.
Their is one time tat i really wanted a pair of shoes. But i was not really sure witch pair i wanted to buy so i ended up doing ini mini mini mo to choose the ones that i would buy. I ended up buying those shews and i used them once and i haven't used them since that day. It is important to take your time in a big decision because if you choose the wrong on it will end up having a great influence on you.
There not a lot of time were I had to make a decision because most people make decision for me. But there is on time recently were I had to made a decision but I rushed to the answer. The decision that I rushed into was ending a friendship with someone. It turned out really well because know I am happier and i feel like there weight lifted off my shoulder. But it is really important to think things through before making a big decision because some decision can change your life for ever and it can be good and also go really bad.
I can’t remember any big decisions I rushed into previously, but that’s probably one of those things that you remember right up until you actually need to remember it. It’s always really important to think through big decisions, things like course selection, making big purchases, or applying to a school/college. If you don’t put any thought or effort into big decisions, they could turn your life in the wrong direction. For example, say you have (at some point in your life) an opportunity for a good job, but you have to move to another country, but you already have your own job wherever you are. You will need to decide if you want to move away, to a place where you probably won’t really know anybody. You’d have to make new friends, acquire a new culture, even possibly learn a new language. But, you’ll have a really good job. The other option is to stay where you are and maintain the connections you have. Both are good, but they will take you in very different directions. For something as big as that, you’re going to need to put a lot of thought into it. Make sure to choose wisely.
I can’t think of any big decisions I’ve rushed into. I’m sure that I rush into decisions all the time, but nothing that big. Often I say stupid stuff that I regret immediately and wish I hadn’t said buy other then that I don’t usually have to rush decisions. Sometimes it even takes me too long to make decisions but that’s a whole other topic.
Most of the time, I think my decisions through, but I do believe that I have had times when I needed to make a big decision by myself. An example of a rushed decision happened about three weeks ago. I needed to chose which sleep away camp I wanted to go, but I wasn't really sure, so I just blindly chose music. Two weeks later I came up with a realisation that I didn't want to do music, but a fitness and sports instructor course for six weeks. SO, I changed my decision last minute. Hopefully I get the camp. That is why it is always important to think your decisions through before starting something.
The only decisions I think through the least would indeed be the ones that I get more than once in my life like choosing what to eat for lunch. And usually it turns out to be a good choice since its always delicious. and because I usually won't have any regrets. However I'd think carefully the things I usually have one shot at such as school, universities as once your done, you are literally done ,Bye ,Bye. however when you get a sandwich for lunch you can get something else next time. there is always a next time for that so you care less about it then
I've rushed into a couple decisions before, like when I was scheduling my activities for my weekend and making plans at certain times, I had to make many decisions on what to do and when to do it. Most of my rushed decisions don't end up perfectly, but most of the time I am lucky to make ends meet. I don't normally like to rush ideas or decisions, but when I have to I try and figure out a logical way to do it, but as we know nothing is ever very logical when you rush it. I think it's not a good idea to rush decisions, because it can cause you a world of problems and frustration later on. For example, choosing schools, that can end up as you not having a great year there. It's important tothink twice or even three times when making big decisions, because they all count, and you can't change it later on.
One thing that I rushed into was cutting 8 inches of my hair. It was something that I have been thinking about for awhile, but once I was actually at the salon on the chair, I started to think twice. Its a few weeks later, and I am proud of my decision since it not only helped me, but helped someone else out there in the world in need.
i think that a decision i rushed into was my course options for next year, now that Im thinking about it, i dont think ill be able to keep up with what I picked which makes me really nervous because school ans succeeding is one of the most important things to me right now. Every decision is important, and anything can chage the course of your life, and depending on what your deciding, it would be best to think about it so you don't end up doing something you'll regret.
