Your BLOG topic is FREE CHOICE! You could blog about whatever it is you want, except what you've already blogged about! You could go on a rant or you could simply blog about something important to you.
Be creative and write about something you feel important or something you would like to tell your audience. Write about something you are passionate about.
You must remember your audience. It is not simply me (Mr. Katz) reading this blog!
If you will be ranting about a certain individual, you need to leave their name out of this. You could give them a pseudonym (example: Mr. Ed) or simply leave their name as anonymous.
Make sure your language is appropriate. Do not go on swearing tangents and try not to blog about blogs :)
I found the recent test pretty interesting. I mean, have you ever done anything like that as a test in English class?? I haven't. I've also never really heard of the method that we were doing, which was a weird way of writing a poem, but I still learnt something new and it was pretty fun to work with a partner as well. I also love that we use a lot of social media too, instead of writing responses all the time and all the boring things that other English classes usually do.

DeleteI think school should start later because our brains only actually start taking in information at like 11 in the morning!?!? Also I am just so exhausted and I feel like im so sleep deprived that its staring to feel normal, and that makes me very sad, because I enjoy being well rested.

DeleteOne thing that really annoys me is when people walk slow. I'm trying to not be late for class because I don't want to be yelled at by my teacher, and there are 2 kids taking up the entire hallway and walking slower than a turtle. And when I ask them to walk a bit faster (nicely of course) they completely ignore me. Ugh, it's so frustrating. Also, I hate it when people don't understand the word STOP. You tell them to stop doing something please, but they continue to do it. When someone says stop, you stop. It's simple human knowledge. And then when you do it, they get mad at you. Like seriously?!!!!

DeleteMy favorite subject in school would have to be science. I look forward to going to science everyday, since it was always a subject of interest to me. I think that I might pursue a career in science when I get older, but in all, time will tell. I really love biology, biochemistry and bacteriology so I will have to learn in further depth which ones I am more interested in.

Have you started making summer plans? We only have something like 43 days of school left and summer is approaching really fast. I only know a bit of what i’m doing but I have friends who have their whole summer planned out. I sort of think that's absolutely crazy. I think summer is supposed to be chill and I don't know if I want mine to be really structured. What do you think?

DeleteYeah, I'll be playing video games for the first four weeks or so, then I'll be working at summer camp for two weeks and staying a third. Then I'll play games and see friends hopefully for another two weeks before I realize school is starting and begin crying myself to sleep every night.
DeleteI hate the break from hockey. When playoffs finish I have like a month break from hockey, well not totally but I miss being on a real team and spending time practicing and playing hockey games with my teammates. I start spring hockey this weekend I think so I'm very happy. For the time when I'm not playing ice hockey I'm outside playing ball hockey with my neighbors. I can't keep myself away from hockey. Can't wait for spring hockey to start!

DeleteI’m just going to write about poems I guess. Recently, my classes have started assigning projects where I have to write a poem. So far, I’ve had to write one in English and one in French. I really liked my french one, but my English one was a little sketch. I’m really looking forward to maybe writing some more. I never knew it would be something that would interest me. My dad loved french poems as a kid, so I have always had tons of french poem books in my house. I think I’ll start reading them...

DeleteMy cousin just came over to teach me how to factor and I'm very happy because I like missed the day we learned factoring and then we've been having a lot of subs so I kind of have been re watching drag race and talking about bunnies and IGA with my friend. But now I mostly get factoring even though I don't feel like catching up on the work i missed right now I will do it in class tomorrow or maybe after practice tonight but probably not, Anyway shoutout to my boi cathro for teaching me shes a real one
ReplyDeleteWe just started playoff yesterday. We had our first game against the other lions team. It was very nerve wreaking going into this game because on of our best players had gotten suspended. Their was a lot of people that had shown up. It was a lot of fun we ended up withing 3-1 one of the was a open net. We have to win one more game to make it to the doge cup.

DeleteI just got this new tiny sketch book over the long weekend and I plan on using it for lots of things, like sketching profiles because it is one of my hobbies, writing down jokes when they come to mind, doodle and practice morse code and binary. There are so many things a person can draw on a piece of paper and I will draw a quarter of those things because whenever I am bored I have this twitch to start drawing.

DeleteIs it just me or does anybody else have no idea what is happening in the movie we are currently watching. Everyone is basically the same character to me and I don’t know who’s related to who. Also I found it funny how that guy got friendzoned while in the shower with a girl. If you’re in a shower with a girl, you’re probably not friends. I’m still happy we get to watch a movie instead of working in class.

DeleteFor this blog I am going to talk about the movie that we watched in English class. It is called "Life as a House". I find it very weird, and a very bad movie. The fact that the son and the daughter could be in a shower naked together and the girl thinks that they are just friends is very strange. Also when the girl kissed the dad, just because when him and her mom were dating she thought that he was a good kisser.

Deletefor this blog i want to talk about UFC 223 that is happening tomorrow night in Brooklyn New York. for those who don't know what UFC is it is basically the biggest cage fighting promotion in the world. so this Saturday night UFC 223 is taking place and it is cursed. the main event of the night was supposed to be Khabib nurmagomedov vs Tony Furgeson exept Tony tore his LCL one of the main tendons in his knee so was not able to fight. so they replaced tony by max Holloway the champion from the weight class under, but today in weigh ins we found out that he was not able to fight as well due to the fact that he didn't make weight. so they called upon Anthony pettis former UFC champion to fight him but he was denied because he was asking for to much money so now he cant fight as well. so now they finally found a guy to fight Khabib but he is going to get killed and rag dolled around the octagon by the undefited, bear wrestling, Khabib Nurmagomedov.
ReplyDeleteSince we get to choose what we want to talk about I want to talk about what makes me so mad sometimes. The thing that makes me really made is when people don't spell your name correctly, or when they ask me is your spelt with a c or a k then I just say both and they are all chocked and they say "really are you serious" . Like yes I am serious because the only reasons why it is spelt like that because my parent want to be different with name and because Erica with a c means your French and Erika with a k means your English. So sense one of my parent is English and the other is French they decided to but a c and a k.

DeleteSince this is a free choice I'm going to be talking about the movie we watched. I found it was interesting but weird at the same time. I didn't understand why actors did certain things and also why the character Sam had to be so grumpy. His parents were trying to do what's best for him. I found it really sad though at the ending. Overall it was a good movie.

DeleteI’ll be talking about the us a bit and how I’m really worried about the trade war that is brewing up . Since Canada and the USA are connected deeply in trading, the idea that China who is capable of economically collapsing the USA is getting attacked is kinda terrifying since we’re going to suffer as well if this continues . Man I wish they’d just chill and talk it out instead of going full out insane. It’s scary when you realize why these are the people in charge of an entire country and can decide on very important life changing decisions

DeleteI can’t believe I forgot about the Friday blog again... I’m still doing it though. I always remember to do my Wednesday blog by often I forget to do my Friday blog. I think it’s because of the weekend excitement that I get distracted and forget to do my Friday blog. Whenever I remember that I haven’t done my blog it’s too late but I still do it anyways, I don’t even know if it counts but whatever there’s my late blog.
