Happy Easter, Passover and Greek Easter!
What are your plans for the Easter weekend?
What sort of family traditions do you have?
If you do not celebrate any of the holidays mentioned above, what will you do this upcoming weekend? Remember, it is a FIVE (5) day weekend!!!
I do not really have a lot of plans for this Easter weekend, but some of my plans are to sleep in every single day of the holiday and go to my grandmothers house to go see family. We do not really have a tradition for Easter, we just go to my grandmothers house to eat turkey, and play card games with my cousins.
ReplyDeleteI love sleeping in and I will probably do that too. Great Blog!
DeleteUsually every year at Easter my parents hide Easter eggs around the house and my brother and I have to try and find them, sometimes we don't find all of the eggs that that my parents hid and we can't find them for years at a time. But this year my parents aren't going to hide Easter eggs instead the eggs are going to be placed on our kitchen table in a bowl. I thought that this would be very boring and unchallenging so I proposed my parents either create or search on the internet, riddles related to Easter or eggs or both to try and give my brother and I a challenge. I will probably organize the whole thing so that is what I will be doing this weekend.
ReplyDeletecool an Easter egg hunt. Great blog
DeleteLol, your parents are probably tired of all the effort they put into the Easter egg hunts every year!! I hope you and your brother have fun with that.
DeleteI plan on sleeping in as much as possible during my Easter vacation. Usually, my aunt comes over from Toronto every Easter and comes to stay with my family and I for a couple days. My family and I often have a big Easter dinner with my grandmother, aunts, uncles etc. We only get together a couple times per year but I enjoy seeing them. Easter is usually just an excuse for my dad to guilt my mom into taking a couple of days off work so she can relax and spend time with us. But this year, the roles have reversed!!! My mom is the one who is guilting my dad into taking some time off work. I’m so excited to relax and spend time with my family over the break.
ReplyDeleteI hope you have a good one!
Deletehave fun sleeping.
DeleteMy family celebrates Easter each year by going to church and then eating a late lunch together and maybe playing a little football. It's nothing too out of the ordinary for us, but I still really like Easter. Some may say that I'm too old for an egg hunt, but I was so good about giving up chocolate for lent. I have yet to give in to temptation, and I only accidentally like forgot and ate chocolate three times in the first week. I know that this probably means nothing to anyone but I'm super proud of myself. Go Haley. Happy Easter/Passover/Long weekend
ReplyDeleteMe too, Easter is kind of like any other day for me.

ReplyDeleteMy plans for Easter is to make a lot of food and go to church. I don't really have any family traditions, but we just have some family time and do things together. After Easter, I will probably just sleep and relax, play video games, read and maybe even do some hobbies since I don't want my five day weekend to go to waste. For some reason, I am considering painting for the long weekend. Maybe I should paint bunnies with Easter eggs.
ReplyDeleteGreat blog!!
DeleteEvery year my brother and I participate in a Easter egg hunt in our house. My younger brother absolutely adores waking up and going looking for the eggs all over our house. We also go to my grandmothers house for a traditional Easter meal with my cousins. This long weekend i'm not doing much. Other then the Easter stuff I mentioned before I’m seeing friends who I haven't seen in a long time and am finishing up projects.
ReplyDeletehave fun!
DeleteOver Easter break, my sister and I usually to blow out eggshells and dye them with food colouring and crayons. This year, I have almost no plans over the weekend. My grandmother is coming for a few days on her way back from Florida, but she is leaving Saturday, so, unfortunately, we won't even be seeing her for long.
ReplyDeleteHow you and your sister decorate your eggshells sounds like fun!
DeleteFor the past few years, my family and I have gone to Saint John's for Easter to visit our cousins. We do this huge easter hunt where there are chocolates all over the place. This is more fun because my parents usually put three chocolates in the same place for my siblings and I. So then it's not much of a race. I like my cousins' version better. This year, we aren't going there because we can't find flights. So we're staying here and just relaxing.
ReplyDeleteYou get to fly every year?? Lucky you!!
DeleteSo every easter i go and see my grandparents, in ontario and stay for that long weekend. We usually go every year 2 times, at thanksgiving and easter and im super excited to see my cousins and grandparents!! I just love where they live and I get to get a break from school and swimming so its going to be great!
ReplyDeleteevery year on Easter i go to all my grandparents houses for dinner and this year is no different. on Saturday i'm going to my nono's house for dinner. on Sunday i'm going to my grandmothers house for dinner with my cousins, and on Sunday i'm going to my other grandmother for dinner. so my long weekend is busy but mostly at night so the rest of the time i plan on sleeping and going outside if its nice out and not snowing. oh ya its supposed to snow this weekend.
ReplyDeleteImma catch up on some sleep too
DeleteIs it actually supposed to snow
DeleteOver easter break, i'm probably going to catch up on sleep and get together with friends. Its nice to have anotger break. I usually celebrate easter with my cousins and grandparents. My younger cousins do a easter egg hunt and we all eat a lot of food. Im usually the one that hides all the easter eggs and I put them all in really hard spots so my cousins cant find them. Overall i like easter.
ReplyDeleteayyyy i did a blog and good blog i guess
DeleteI’m looking forward to Easter weekend. We go to a really big church service in the morning, one of the biggest ones of the year at our church.Every year, we meet up with the rest of our family -- this year we’ll be at my cousins’ home. We have a really awesome meal that *almost* all the adults pitch in on. We used to colour hard-boiled eggs and have really fun egg hunts, but us kids grew too old for that. We haven’t done either of those things since 2016, which, come to think of it, doesn’t seem that far away. Often times, we celebrate Easter and birthdays at the same time, so that we don’t have to meet several times in just a few weeks, I guess, but I think we should meet more often, my fam is awesome! There are my sister’s and my own birthday both within 2 weeks of Easter this year, and one of my cousins’ in 3 weeks(ish). For Easter, our grandparents always buy us bags with a bunch of chocolate eggs and such and one giant chocolate bunny. I am REALLY looking forward to the weekend, since this week will probably feel like one of the longest weeks, considering how long it feels like it’s been since the weekend. Aside from spending time with the fam, I’ll probably play some games, do some homework, and sleep right up until tuesday morning when I’ll grudgingly and grumpily wake up so that I can go to SCHOOL. On a PED DAY. UGH that’s gonna hit me where it hurts. Hopefully some miracle happens and Friday-Monday repeat themselves in an eternal loop of happiness and fun.
ReplyDeleteYeah… that’s not gonna happen...
Honestly I don't know what I'm going to do. Usually my mom ends up spending so much time finding the "perfect" chocolate for us and makes sure that the chocolate is our favourite. When we were little we would always do scavenger hunts and as we got older they would do it for all three of us (my sister, my brother ans I) but it was really for my little brother. We would find Easter eggs then when we found a certain amount of every colour or pattern, we would go to our parents ans claim our grand prize. ( it was usually those extreamly huge chocolates and a box of whatever brand we liked best.) this year I told my mom to not get me chocolate because I want to try to be healthier but I know she got me chocolate already because she acted all suspicious and did that little laugh and smile when something's up. I'm probably going to therefore end up eating all the chocolate though.
ReplyDeleteheres a bright idea. Dont eat the chocolate all at once. Take pieces each day, itll help in digestion so you wont have any problems for health since you only get a little each time in your blood stream
DeleteUsually for easter my family and i go to my aunts for breakfast with just about everything you can ask for that. This year she is out of town so we’re just gonna chill at home and make our own food. We might go to my grandmas house for supper but we’re not really sure yet. Other than that i’ll just do stuff with friends to pass the weekend and of course pray every night for ma boy William Terry to get through the rough time.

ReplyDeletemy parents. Actually my entire family on my step dad's side will be having a reunion at our house. So basically i'll be having my cousin xavier and me just upstairs playing video games while my other family members are "hanging out" yeah thats our source of entertainment but its pretty fun. I do howver am interested on how one of my cousins johnaton is doing since If im correcte, he moved out(If im right) so Ill get some stories on him on how tough or maybe easy it was for him to move out
ReplyDeletesounds like fun!
DeleteI am really excited for this weekend. The only tradition we have is going to church and other regular easter stuff. But what I am most excited about is skateboarding and grinding Fortnite. I feel like a 5 day weekend is a really nice thing to have rigth now, we've been getting a lot of tests and assignments recently so its a nice break.
ReplyDeleteEvery year we would go to my grandparents and church on the days you are supposed to. Now my grandparents moved to Alberta so I don’t know what we are going to do. I know that we are still going to church but other that that I have no clue. It’s going to be a different Easter this year. Oh we also have an Easter egg hunt every year
ReplyDeletesounds like fun
DeleteMy plans for Easter week end are to go visit my grandmother. Every year we go over to her house to do a Easter egg hunt and eat her delicious food. My aunt from Ottawa will also be coming down to visit us. I will most likly also training for hockey over this 5 day week end.
ReplyDeleteI don't usually celebrate easter anymore. I might be visiting my grandmother's graves but that's probably it. In the past, I used to always do fun little scavenger hunts with my grandmothers, but now I don't. I don't even buy chocolate because I could just buy that anytime. I'm just glad we have 5 days off to chill and have some time for ourselves.
ReplyDeleteI don't really have plans for this weekend, except for going to my cousin's house for dinner on easter. Other than that I am just studying and fooling around. Some traditions we have is easter egg hunting, it's more for my little sisters but I still join in. Then we go knside for our easter breakfast, which is normally some baked pastry or eggs or pancakes. I am I happy that I get a break from school, and I really needed this time to cool off from all the stress.
