i cant say i am a fan of christmas movies or music. i find them kind of annoying. the music doesn't sound good and is just really annoying. i wont put on a christmas movie by myself but if someone is watching it i might watch it with them. the only movie that i find acceptable is elf. elf is okay but again i wont watch it on my own.
I agree with you on the music. It feels like your telling them to have a great Christmas but write an essay conveying it. The jingle bells sometimes destroy my ears as well with the xylophone . That could just be because I haven't heard any good music for Christmas as they tend to use a lot of the same "classic music" than newer ones
My favorite Christmas movie is is the polar express. I watch it every single year in my basement. I my house we have a surround sound system in the basement and in at the bringing of the movie it is really loud when the train comes in it shakes the hole house. It is just a great movie in general. I never get bored from watching it.
I don't have many favorite Christmas movies but i really like elf. For Christmas music i like a lot of them. Whenever it comes to the holidays my family always have Christmas music playing so i have just grown to like them. This has become a family tradition in the family. I feel like it just adds to the christmas feeling and adds to the fun of the break.
my all time favourite christmas movie would have to be Elf of course. it is still one of the best christmas movies to this day and has been out for over 14 years!! i love this movie because it is very funny. my favourite part is when buddy is in his dad's office and he sees his boss and calls him an elf. i found this funny because the boss kept saying "call me elf one more time" and got really mad. i watch this movie every year and i am still not tired of it and never will be.
i love christmas movies, theres one that my family watches every year, and its christmas with the kranks, its rly funny. My family seems to never get tired of it. I also really love christmas music. It's so happy and no matter what the song, you seem to know every word,no matter what version it is,so that's fun.
For me I like to watch all the movies that are about christmas/the holidays because they are all really fun to watch with my family. But the movie that I have seen to most is How the Grinch Stole Christmas and the Polar Express. But for my favorite song I love to listen to We wish you a Merry Christmas.
My favourite Christmas movie is National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation. I watch it every year and it never gets old. My mom was the first person to show it to me. It is hilarious and amazing. The movie is about a man wanting to have a perfect Christmas with his family, but unfortunately everything goes wrong. If you haven't seen it yet, I strongly suggest you should watch it.
Like I've mentioned in my last two blogs, I find Christmas music very irritating, but it's mostly because of how often I hear it. When Christmas music first starts playing, I don't mind it, but as Christmas approaches it becomes more and more tiresome. Christmas movies, on the other hand, I don't find annoying at all. One of the movies I watch at Christmas is Home Alone. I can still remember the first few times I watched it; I thought it was the most hilarious movie ever. It brings back so many great Christmas memories, so I still watch it every year.
My favourite movie was home alone lost in New York , it was such a classic, and extremely funny to the point where I was dying of laughter during one of th parts. I Remember watching it two years ago, it was when the employes in the hotel where going to get the kid and he turned on the movie (movie -ception) and the tommy gun man later started shooting the gun and the employes thought it was real! There were also some memorable moments such as when the little kid(forgot his name)gave a swan necklace to a lady and said they'll be best friends! That was loveable and hearth warming. I recommend all the old home alone movies with the original main character as they're priceless however the new ones started the lose the magic of the old ones (it felt like they just took the title as it wasn't the same characters or anything. Felt like an attempt for them to make more money by using a well known classic movie)
I'm ok with Christmas music but I don't listen to it for fun. Hearing it in the mall is fun but that's about it. I have two Christmas movies that are and always have been my favorite. Rudolph the red nosed reindeer and the story of Santa Claus. You know those old movies that have the little clay characters? YEAH THOSE ONES. Every year I'll probably watch one or two on my own a couple days before Christmas because that is the time when I can really enjoy them without having to study for exams. I can always remeber those movies playing on YTV when I was a kid and I used to love them so much. There's no cringy jokes or bad acting. It's really simple and brings me back to the real meaning of Christmas.
Im not really that crazy about Christmas so i dont really watch many movies. I remember when i was younger, a few years ago I watched Elf at my daycare and I loved it. I dont really remember what happens in it but I do remember I was obsessed with that movie. I also do love Christmas music. I like the more i guess you could say “modern” music though.
My favorite holiday movie would have to be Elf. As a family we can never agree on a movie to watch. My father wants to watch an action movie, my mother a drama, my brother a comedy and I always want to watch something Disney. Elf is the only movie we can all agree on watching. We don't have many traditions when it comes to the holidays but this is one of them. We started to watch it together about five years ago. .
I think my favorite Christmas song is probably Silent Night, but I do love Lindsey Stirling’s take on Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy from The Nutcracker. I’ve actually been a fan of The Nutcracker since I was pretty young, I don’t know how it appealed to me then but I don’t really mind since it is amazing. My favorite Christmas movies are definitely the first two Home Alone movies. I’ve rewatched them a ton but they never seem to be dull or annoying to me. Sure, they kinda lose their spark but that always happens after the first viewing. I still love the movies, but I can’t forget to mention The Polar Express and even that pretty weird Rudolph movie.
My favorite Christmas movie would have to be Home Alone 2: Lost in New York. I remember that when I saw it for the first time I got instantly hooked and watched it again and again for a couple of times. I think that I was probably around 10 years old when I first really got into the movie. I admired how funny it was. I remembered that my favorite scene was the brick scene when it kept on hitting the guys head. I used to fall out of my chair of laughter(I still do). I love watching this movie cause it's so funny and makes me die of laughter. It also gets me into the Christmas spirit.
To be honest I don't like christmas songs at all. They give a nice vibe but they are really annoying because its always the same songs. I never listen to christmas music because of this. I prefer christmas movies over music. I think my favorite Christmas movie is elf. I watch it every year and still find it funny. I also like the the home alone one which I thought was also very funny.
My favourite Christmas movie that I love watching during the holidays is Home alone. I love watching this movie because of the part near the end when the kid is planning everything and when the bad guys are tripping and falling into all of the traps. It is always so funny no matter how many times I watch it, it cracks me up. My favourite Christmas song would be difficult to pick because I don't have one, I have lots. I would never be able to pick a favourite song, but I have a song in my head right now and it is a Christmas song that I really like and it's called "So this is Christmas"
One of my favourite Christmas movie series is home alone, I really enjoy the parts where the kid is setting up all the traps because it gets me exited to see how they are all going to work, its like a behind the scenes. I also like watching the intruders get completely destroyed by the traps and not give up there hunt which is pretty dumb of them. I love christmas music too, theres this one acapella song that is a mix of 12 days of Christmas that combines a bunch of Christmas songs that I really like, I'm not sure what that song is called but I really like it so yeah.
My favourite Christmas specials are any of the slightly creepy claymation ones like Rudolph, Santa Claus is coming to town and the one with Snowmeister that I don’t know the title of (“Here come Santa Claus”??). Anyway, I’ve watched these specials pretty much annually for as long as I can remember and they are the movies I associate the most with Christmas. Every single year I’m totally charmed by these three Christmas specials.
I like a lot of Christmas movies but I would have to say that one of my favourites is elf. It's one of my favourites because it is so funny and it never gets old. So far in the months of November and December I have watched elf 3 times. I don't know why but I feel like I can watch this movie forever. I started watching this movie when I was younger. I feel like it's just a classic. There are so many parts of the movie that make me laugh.

DeleteI love Home Alone, I think it's an amazing classic! But I have to agree, unfortunately the movies that followed never quite reached the same standard.

ReplyDeleteI feel the same way. I absolutely loved the Nutcracker as a child. I remember when I saw it as a school field trip. My friend Tommy and I loved it.
