  1. Term 1 went very well for me in this class and in the rest of them too. I did not get bellow a 70 in any of the marks that i have gotten back so far. So i think i did pretty well. I did well in all my classes but in some their was a test or a quiz that i was in the 70. I need to work on my organisation so that i always know when everything is due. My goal for term 2 is to stay organised and always know where all my stuff is.

  2. Term 1 was a success for me. I did not fail anything, which I am proud of. I worked extremely hard this term and I hope I did well on my report card. A goal that I set was to get Honour Roll again this year. Something that I believe I need to work on is studying more often. All my teachers tell me to start studying a week before the test. But I never do and I always regret it.

  3. Term 1 this year went pretty well but not as good as previous years. I was getting better marks in secondary 2 and I find my tests this year are a little harder. I also am not trying as hard as I was last year. I don't have the same motivation to study or work like I did last year. I think this is why I am not doing as good a usual. Despite this I am probably still making honor roll and I am still happy with my marks.

  4. Term 1 has been great but I thought that it went super fast. For me Term 1 went great because I did not fail anything. For think that I did not fail anything because this year I started to study and I have been trying really hard to do my best this year. One goals that I set for yourself this term was to try my hards and not get any marks under 80% for math. I set this goal because I am really bad at math but if I try hard enough I can get higher than 90%. But this term I tried really hard so I got all my test higher than 90%. I also think that I did really well in pop class because I thought that I was going to be really bad at it but I got 100% on everything. The things that I need to work on is I have to study harder and start studying like a week before the exam so that the day before I can review the things that I do not know and I will have to studying for a less amount of time. I also have to work on french things like grammar because even though my first language is french I am really bad at the writing part. I goal that I will make for term 2 is to get higher grades in french class and history class. I think that this are good goal for me because I think that if I try hard enough I will get the grade that I want.

  5. For me, term 1 went pretty well. At the start of the school year I did not necessarily set a goal but a mind set. I wanted to start the year with a positive mind set so that hopefully my year would go well. Throughout this term I believe i've been doing academically well in the majority of my classes. The only class I need to work on a bit more is math. that's my goal for term 2.

  6. For me, term1 actually went way better than I expected. For the past two years, I was failing math hardcore and had to go to summer school. But so far this year, I am one of the smartest students in my class and I am finding math very easy. I have failed a few things but those were only minor things, not big deals. Other than that, I am getting 80's or up for the most of my classes. A goal that I set at the beginning of the year was to get honour role. I've been wanted to get this for all my years of high school and I hope I will finally accomplish that goal for this term. Somethings that I may need to work on is my organization. I am stating this because I always, and I mean ALWAYS procrastinate. This is a really bad habit that I will try and fix this year.

  7. Term one was okay for me. I think I need better study and work habits because I got a lot more work than I was used to this term and I ended up having hours upon hours of work the night before something was due more than once. I think my grades were pretty good this term and so far I’m enjoying secondary three pretty well. Good luck to everyone on their report cards!

  8. I didn’t do well in term 1. I wasn’t working at my full potential and could’ve done way better. I slacked off this term and I know that my grades will show that. I didn’t really have any term 1 goals, just to get used to the new school and see how well I do. My goals for term 2 is to put school 100% first before anything else. I did good in class work but in homework I didn’t do as great. I need to work on my time management skills and on getting all my work done. Other goals I have for term 2 is to put my social life as second priority and school first. Whether my friends are mad or not, school comes first no matter what and I think term 1 helped me realize that.

  9. I think that term 1 went really well for me because academically speaking I did really well in science on one of my unit tests and in French class when I did well on a compréhension, which normally, I am not so good at. One of my goals for term 1 was to get higher science marks (accomplished).
What I need to improve on is my formal writing skills. I am still new to the concept of formal writing so I am not as comfortable writing them as writing creative writing because we write them every couple of classes. One of my goals in term 2 is to work on becoming more comfortable in formal writing.

  10. For me, term 1 went really well. I received high marks in a majority of my assignments, which to me is a great accomplishment. My goals for term 1 were to always stay on top of all of my assignments, in order to never be late with handing them in. I also swore to never keep work for the last minute, since it tends to be very stressful when I have to complete it the day before. I personally have done well with written work and orals since I believe that those are my strongest points(but I do still have stage fright). I am honestly unsure of what I need to work on, but once I receive my report card, it will be clear as to what I need to improve on. My goals for term 2 would have to be to keep up the good work. I need to make sure that I don't leave work for the last minute, and to always hand in assignments on time. I must also stay determined and always put out 110 percent in everything that I do.

  11. Term one flew by, even though it definitely was not a fun time. I’m doing well in most of my classes, which is great, but I swear math is going to be the death of me. I was failing math up until about a week ago, when we got our final test back (which by some miracle I passed). Even now, I'm barely passing, so my goal for term two is to get my math mark up.

  12. Term 1 for me was easy at first but then started to go down hill. It was all good, I did very well on my tests and then I dropped. Especially in math. In math I had to switch to regular, because I had such a hard time last year. I thought it would be so much easier, but it's still math. Most people don't understand why I'm having trouble, it's because no matter how people say or explain it, it is still very hard for me, it's the same thing as enriched just not as much work. I set a couple goals for the past term. One of my goals was to finish all my projects in time and study hard for my tests. That last about a month. I got overwhelmed and I got swept under all my wok, it was like drowning in paper. I did well with most of my subjects, except math and science. My goals for next term are to try not to get overwhelmed by the amount of work and keep up with it. Some things that have to be worked on are the amount I study, it needs to be more and for longer. The quality of my work, and my efficiency, meaning how much I get done.

  13. For term one, I made sure I did well on every test I received. I studied a lot much more than last year and tried to pay more attention in my classes. This term, I think I did really well compared to last year. I am hoping that I will do well for term two as well

  14. for term one i think i did pretty average. i only failed one thing in french so i think im okay. im still worried about my marks even though i have only failed one thing. i have handed most things in, in most of my classes. i could have done all my blogs but i kept forgetting about them. i should set some good goals for term 2,like study for a test.

  15. for term one I think I did OK not perfect but in the eighty percent range. in french I got and eighty and in math I should get in the eighty's as well. personally I found that term one was extremely boring like ridiculously stale and uneventful. I didn't understand f451 at all and that was suckish. and all my other classes I was so bored that I slepped through them plus my french and history teacher is terrible and ya a slow start to the year but its OK. oh and my goal was study more because i dont study at ALL.

  16. I actually think I haven't been doing so bad, the only class that I'm not amazing in, is French class. I'm pretty sure my average for term one in French will be in the 70s but I'm afraid because Term 2 will get harder. My goal for term one is to get honor role because to be honest, I've never gotten honor role before. Something I need to work on is concentrating. If there was a class for procrastination I would be getting 100s. Anyway lastly my term two goal is to get higher marks than whatever I get for term 1.

  17. I didn't set any specific goals for term one I just wanted to get back into the flow of the things and maintain an 80% average. Term one passed really quickly for me, I think I did ok, I still need to working on studying more. In term two I want to get above 80% in all of my classes and study more for tests.

  18. To be honest term 1 was a lot better compared to last years term 1. I feel like I'm on a winning streak as I nailed most of my math, and English tests which i did poorly on last year. Around a 20% increase. I believe I hit my goal mark wise for all that of my subjects except art. Art I feel like I got a mark between 75-80 and it kinda crushes me as I invested 15 hours in my art work in total and in the end I didn't receive three mark I had hoped to get

  19. Term 1 this year was good for me, and my goals were to get 80 and up in all of my classes and just work hard. I've been doing really well in art and math and science this year, which I'm really happy about, and I hope to continue doing well. I think I really still need to work on history, because I'm not doing so well in that class and I know I can do better, so I'm gonna try to work on that next term, and another term 2 goal I have is to just keep up what I'm doing now.
