The commercial that I hate the most is the subaru “Crosstrek Park” commercial. The reason that I hate this commercial is because it is so cringy because the people in the commercial are treating the cars as dogs and that they are bringing the “dogs” to the dog park. When I watch this commercial all that I do is cringe. The biggest reason that I cringe is because at the end of the commercial one of the people says “ I just shampooed him in the morning.” This annoys me because if somebody shampoos their “dog” in the morning they would not bring them to a mud park. DeleteI don't have cable so I don't watch as many commercials as most people. I do in fact, watch "CTV Go" and there are commercials when I am watching one of my favourite shows. The type of commercials that I hate the most are car commercials. I find that the car commercials are all the same. They say that this new Subaru DeltaX4 has more horse power and other stuff but to me, all cars look the same so it's annoying. Plus I am too young to drive anyway. So I don't think, at my age, that these commercials are relevant for my viewing.

DeleteOne of the ads that I find very annoying on TV is the Bowflex ads. I find it super irritating when this long ad comes on telling you how much weight you can lose in days and how people lost 40 pounds in 3 weeks. Once you think the ad is over there's more and you can get free workout DVD if you call now. The people in the ads are super fit, but doing only the bowflex for a month definitely doesn’t get you to look like that. It botheres me how they are tricking you into thinking the bowflex will get you ripped when it probably won’t do much and it’s all just said for advertisement. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=axFFfkqJf18

DeleteThe most annoying commercial I know of is the Stewart’s beggin strips commercial. There are two reasons why I strongly dislike this commercial. First of all I hate the voice of the dog as It is obnoxious. I also strongly dislike the Beggin strips commercial because it is constantly playing. Beggin Strips is always on in commercial breaks. When my brother and I hear this commercial come on we either mute the television or turn it off. I can't stand it.

DeleteOne of the commercials that I really find irritating and annoying are the gaming ads on YouTube. There is one ad on YouTube, its called Game Of War. I really hate this ad, it's so annoying but yet the commercials are pretty cool once you see them one even or twice. After a while though, it's really annoying. It gets you all hyped about this game. I downloaded it, because it seemed so cool and then the actual game is terrible. It blows, it's nothing like the commercials. It just annoys me that you could spend so much money on the commercials and then the game is so crapy. It played for like 2 years straight and they just upgraded the commercials every couple months. It was like false advertising, the commercial made it seem so cool with Kate Uptonand every one, but the actual game sucks. Every single time I went on YouTube I saw that ad at least once or twice. It was making me want to delete YouTube so many times. It's also mandatory that you watch it, no skipping. It makes me mad how anyone could make an ad so appealing but yet such a terrible game for that awesome commercial.

DeleteOne of the most annoying commercial ever is Kars 4 Kids. The song is so cringy and perky. The kids in this are always smiling and their singing is so autotuned, it's terrible. They aren't even playing the instruments and their acting is the worst. All they do is pretend to touch the instruments and move back and forth. The annoying song gets stuck in my head and the lyrics make me cringe.

DeleteOne of my least favourite ads was for budweiser beer and it was probably the most annoying thing i’ve ever had to listen to. The ad the first time wasn’t that bad but when i noticed that I kept getting this same ad it started annoying me. For about a month straight I only got this stupid ad that was french. On youtube was the worst because the ad was 30 seconds long ,you couldn’t skip it and it was french! It came to the point that I knew the ad by heart and when I started getting new ads I was celebrating in my head
ReplyDeleteMy least favourite ad is definitely the voltswaggon car ad. You know, the one where they start singing “ YA YA YA “ over and over again until your ears bleed? It came on TV a couple years ago and I will never forget it. I often watch TV at night with my family, so not only do I hate the ad but so does my whole family. Whenever the ad came on my dad would begin intensely swearing in French ( due to him being French Canadian, if he wasn’t that would just be weird ) and then he would usually turn it off ASAP.

DeleteThe only ad that i can remember and i hate is the yop ad. its where there are people that are singing but its not there mouths. i don't know why it annoys me but it does. its really the only ad i remember and i don't even remember it that well. i would just leave when the ad came on.

DeleteI tend to find most commercials very irritating, so it was quite difficult for me to just pick one. In the end, I chose is a beer commercial that is unbelievably irritating. I can't find a link for it at the moment, so I’m just going by memory, but that commercial plagued youtube a few months back, so I think I’ve seen it enough to remember enough details. Basically, the whole commercial focuses on a talking orange. First of all, the orange is made out of clay or some other solid material, so when the orange is talking, its mouth doesn't move nearly enough to make it look like someone put any effort at all into the commercial. Secondly, the orange has an incredibly annoying voice. I don't think I need to elaborate on that. Last but definitely not least, most of what the orange is saying has no relation to the product. First the orange apologizes for interrupting, then suggests the viewer buys the product, then apologizes again. The commercial ends with the orange making fun of the fact that he apologized more than advertised. All in all, this commercial is ridiculously stupid, and makes me groan every time I see it. I can't find the link though, which is honestly probably a good thing for anyone who is actually going to go watch all of these commercials; you're welcome for sparing you a minute of torture.

So I don’t really watch tv anymore, but when I was like 11, there was this Slap Chop commercial. It’s soooooo annoying. I think you guys probably know about it because it’s so infuriating! They had it on all the time for a solid two years!! It drove me nuts. The commercial is basically this guy with a funny accent, chopping things while insulting you, and the whole time he’s can’t pronounce the words he’s supposed to say. It’s funny, but it’s really long and its been on so much that it’s just annoying now. I find it really pointless though because the guy stands there and cuts food in this machine and says that you’re unhealthy and that you don’t eat breakfast and stuff.

ReplyDeleteThey commercial that i think is the most annoying is candy tails. The commercial is about children how like eating their hair and so it would be more fun some clown invented a strand of hair that you would attach to yours and suck on it. First of all it is just advertising a terrible product no one would ever buy this so that they can eat candy tasting hair. Plus this commercial is never played once it is always played at least twice in a row. The way i react when i see it is ohh i need one of those in a very sarcastic voice. Their are also more annoying commercials but this is the one that bothers me the most.
The one commercial that I dislike beyond the others is the new Subaru Crosstrek commercial.I think that this commercial is really annoying because are treating the cars as an animal. DeleteI don't usually get bothered by ads that often. I am mostly disturbed when the same ad plays twice in a row or during the break. This is annoying because of the fact that it has no purpose and it wastes your time. I Think seeing an ad once is enough to decide if you want to purchase the product or not. This does not happen often on television as it does in video games but in both cases it is bothersome.
ReplyDeleteOne time when I was watching a vevo video, it was advertising it self. Which was really werird like the same artist that I was watching was getting advertised.
DeleteAt my house we don't have TV so the majority of the ads I experience are the ones an the radio. The ad that annoys me the most is the alarm force jingle. that stupid theme song gets stuck in my head for the rest of the day and even days. when the ad first comes up I usually start singing it because its so catchy but then a few minutes later I regret singing it because it is now deeply in-bedded in my brain.

DeleteThe only ad I remember hating is this one ad for L’Aubainerie. It wasn’t really about the ad, but their choice of music was like the writer was drunk, walked out into the middle of a highway, and acted like he was a police officer directing traffic, and the song was basically what he said to the road and the cars flying by (no offense to the writer). The music was this French quebecois thing, and it said, “Stop, ou, encore” in a really drunken obnoxious voice and it repeated that a couple times and then the song would explain something about being 15 years old and not having a clue what he is doing or whatever the heck it was. It’s ridiculously stupid and I want to break something every time I hear that music, whether in an advertisement or not. Why would anybody like the song anyway…

Honestly, I've never really watched much tv so I don't have a commercial that I dislike the most. But I believe that all commercials are annoying because they disrupt your shows, or whatever your watching. You're just enjoying your show, then a commercial comes on at the worst times, and then you have to wait 5 minutes depending on how many there are so you just wait then your show comes back on but then 5 seconds later theres another commercial. I seriously don't get the point of commercials. They are honestly useless because they are super annoying and no one really listens to them anyways, they just distract themselves with something else until their show comes back on.

ReplyDeleteI don’t have a television provider service at my house, so I can’t really name any one specific ad, but in general any and all American drug advertisements make me want to die. You know, the ones with some mildly distressed white guy who starts to use a new medication and suddenly elevator music plays in the background and a montage of the white guy doing activities with his family plays while a female narrative voice lists all of the 1894780138718 possible side effects of the drug being advertised.That was a really long sentence. Anyway, I’ve hated these ads my whole life and my cousins and I even spoofed them when I was like 9 and it was hilarious.
I agree 100% because I have seen ads like this and it's so annoying, it makes want to just change the channel and watch another show. And when they say the side affects they say it's really fast so you can barely hear what they are saying but it's still there so they won't get sued, and what's worse is when they write things on the bottom of the screen in really small writing
DeleteA commercial that is annoying is the one that is supposed to be selling cars or febreeze. The seller starts off by greeting the people and then a sign pops up that says "real people, not actors". Ugh don't even get me started on this real people not actors crap because we all know that they were payed to do this commercial and it's obvious because they all seem to love the car or love the smell of the febreeze. All they say is " oh my god there's so much room in this Chevy" or "wow this room smells 100% better than before when I didn't spray the febreeze". ReplyDeleteThat's super true !! I remember the Febreeze commercial with the wet dog smell in the car and then they sprayed Febreeze and it was like it was a new fresh smelling and looking car.
DeleteEvery single one of drug advertisements. They play with really nice and happy music saying the benefits of the drug, and then quickly say the side effects of the drugs in rapid speed. At first I feel happy when I hear the benefits, but then when they say the side effects I tend to imagine them. Well yeah that's mostly why I don't like hose types of advertisements. They are beneficial but just make you feel scared after hearing the sideffects as it means that other people have had those side effects

DeleteA commercial that I dislike beyond others would have to be the WaxVac commercial. The product is basically an ear cleaner that uses a powerful suction to remove dirt, wax and moisture from your ear.The reason why I detest this commercial so much is because in the opening scene, a man is cleaning out his ear with a Q-tip. To prove that Q-Tips are dangerous for cleaning your ear,he decides to shove the Q-Tip deep in his ear canal, and scream out the most over dramatic "OWW" you could ever hear. This was an old commercial, so back then I used to hear it all the time. It was so annoying to constantly see a person be that dumb to shove a Q-Tip in their ear canal, hitting their eardrum. Sometimes I felt like cleaning his ear for him.That would have been a lot better rather than constantly hearing someone yell "OWW" all the time.

DeleteI have two commercials in particular that tend to get on my nerves, the Grammarly and Wix ads. I view them so frequently that I honestly get them mixed up sometimes and can’t tell the difference. They keep reappearing, but at least I can close or skip these commercials after a few seconds. They both have similar voices and their messages are often stuck in my head. When I see them come up I mute the sound and do something else, even if I could simply wait a few seconds to get rid of it. I have an extreme distaste for them as it is, and I don’t need them even more ingrained into my head.
ReplyDeleteI don't really watch tv so I never hear any commercials. The only commercials I could think of are the recent songs play in like a 20 second remix of all of the songs. I can't even explain how much I hate that. I just get so annoyed by hearing the same songs over and over again. At the moment I also recently saw the Rice Krispie ad in french, I hate that because when I was a kid I remember seeing snap, crackle and pop be in the commercials so they were more fun to watch, but now it's a 10 second long video that basically just shoes the box they are held in.
