I believe that the world will be full of technology in 100 years. I think we will use it for everything. It's going to be very different from now. We will use robots and automatic things all the time. Our society will evolve more because of the technology that will help with research, but we will be less healthy because of it. Also, we won't socialize as often. We have all these phones and computers to communicate, no one will have any face to face conversations. It will feel like a complete different world.
I agree with the fact that nobody will be healthy with all this technology, it's already starting to happen and technology is not nearly the same as it will be in 100 years.
I think that our world will be purely technology in 100 years. Our world already revolves around technology, so it's not too difficult to imagine it. I think that everything will be a screen and no one will really appreciate the world anymore. Every kid will grow up without those key childhood moments like going to the park, playing outside or going to the pool. There will be robots, internet platforms more complex then we could ever imagine, and virtual..everything! No one will appreciate the natural world anymore. Technology is advancing so fast and like humans have always have done: we'll just keep advancing it, even knowing the consequences, then it'll be too late. Everything will be completely different
In 100 years, i think most humans will be replaced by robots. Which means basically everyone will be unemployed and all jobs will be run by technology. Also, i believe that the use of smart phones will just increase as years go by. We will be using it so much that we probably wont even communicate in real life, we will just be using virtual reality games all the time.
Those are really good ideas because humans would have a possibility of being replaced since robots can just obsorb the information from a chip or something.
There's a book, it's called "The Eye of Minds" by James Dashner, and it's about a world that is virtual that most people spend most of their lives in, similarly to your idea of the world becoming virtual reality.
In 100 years technology will have definitely evolved a lot and would be much more advanced than today. I imagine holographic screens everywhere and I even think our phones screens would be like portable holograms. I also think most jobs would be replaced by robots and we wouldn’t have to work anymore. All cars would be driverless, hovering cars that can reach very high speeds and they would fly in the sky so there is more space on land. All this technology would probably have negative consequences on humans because it would make us less active, social and we wouldn’t know how to do anything for ourselves because robots would do everything for us.
I think that in 100 years, we will have robots for everything. For example, there might be a cleaning robot. We will have invented flying cars. Cars that turn into helicopters that are using electricity. Another thing that might be invented in 100 years is that there will be no global warming because we will have satellites that control the weather so there aren't 4 hurricanes all at once.
I believe in 100 years the world will be completely developed in a new innovative way. We would start doing less and less things for ourselves as there will be human like A.I systems that do all the work for us. There are already some self driven cars on the road and Human looking robots starting to show up in different countries. If you think about it it's scary at how much technologie is taking over. We live in a world where technology is very relevant. If it continues to develop at the rate we are going now we will not need humans to do jobs and the robots will take over completely.
that would be difficult though. if they were to make robots that could do our job, they would need to think like us and think beyond what we can do. they would need to create an independent AI that will develop on its own.
I think that in 100 years the world would have evolved very quickly. For example, the world will have completely transferred from gas cars to electric cars. There is also a good possibility that the cars will be able to drive themselves. Even today, we already see that the Teslas can drive themselves. I also think that the phone technology would have evolved. All technology would advance maybe leaving schools to use only computers instead of textbooks. There is a good possibility that books become extinct. They would stop making books because you will be able to read or write from your device. Lastly, I think that there will be robots that do the majority of work for you. They would be responsible for cooking and cleaning. In conclusion, I think that the world will continue to evolve into things we cannot even imagine.
if all books became digital and paper copies went extinct then there could be a chance that if somehow it got deleted then it would be gone forever. So i think it would be better if we stayed to paper copies.
I believe that the world will still have plenty of technology in one hundred years. In the twenty first century, technology is all around us. There is no way of avoiding it.
I believe that there will be more advances in medicine and a lot more, thanks to technology. I also believe that everybody's social skills will drastically change. More people will become focused on their phones, rather than the people around them. When used properly, technology can be great. Although, when others become addicted, they can easily and quickly become isolated.
Since typing words is easier than actually saying them, everyone will have completely different personalities than they do in real life. To be completely honest, I'm not too sure what the world will be like in one hundred years with technology advancing so quickly.
I think that in 100 years there will still be humans but everything will revolve around technology like when you're at home preparing a meal there will be a screen to choose what you want to eat. (AKA: Back To The Future). Cars will drive themselves and even fly. Phones will be so advanced and in 100 years they will still be trying to find out if there's something new they can invent. There might even be shoes that can let you float above the ground. People probably won't go to school because you'll just wake up, get ready as usual and then sit in your living room and a screen will pop up. Robots could even be teaching us on the other side of that screen.
I have multiple opinions on this matter, however I think the first of them is far more likely to become a reality than the second one. The first and more likely of my thoughts is that in a hundred years, technology will have become extremely advanced, to the point where we could never live our lives without it ever again. Things like virtual reality will have been taken to a whole new level, with things like special platforms or rooms filled with sorts of conveyor belts that you can use to walk in any direction without running into a real life wall, and like pressure suits that press against you upon an impact within a virtual world. Robots may occupy human positions such as factory workers or even accountants. Libraries may become extremely rare as everything would be accessible via technology. Cars will drive themselves. They may even fly themselves or float themselves. Cell phones will have the ability to reach anywhere, and who knows how big their screens will be. The internet will cover the entire Earth so that there is not a single place that is without Wi-Fi. Doctors would work with machines to perform extremely precise surgeries and procedures without needing an entire team. We might discover a cure for cancer. We may reach Mars and have people exploring it, with a return trip included. Soldiers would be trained through virtual simulations for active combat, or wars might even take place within virtual simulations of active combat. Or in space. Nah, that’s far out. Bad puns aside, there are tons and tons of things that may be changed within the next hundred years. We are the generation to advance the technology. It will be in our hands how we advance the technology and make it better. However, all these technological advancements could lead to some negative repercussions. The world may be filled with unhealthy “couch potatoes” who do nothing but use their technology. It might be similar to what we read in class, “The Pedestrian”. Technology advancement might not be as good as we think. My next idea is that technology might advance for a while, but then it may even out or start going backwards because of a potential realization that technology could destroy the world, with pollution or with weapons of mass destruction. We might realize that if we continue advancing the danger of things such as climate change or nuclear war will go up, more likely war since we may be able to find some technology that we can use to reverse climate change. This idea is far less likely I think, as there will always be people who want to push for more, and when they get more, they want to push past more into anything.
I believe that in 100 years, technology will basically have consumed our lives. I think that this hypothetical truth will be for better and for worse in several ways; it will be for better in the sense that I predict we will have found better ways to exist and function together in society and take far better care of the environment. By the same token, I think people will be a lot lazier, because their machines and their robots will be able to accomplish all kind of tasks for them. I think that there will be less travel, less hard work and more isolation because people will become too accustomed to the comfort of technology. I think it’s important to have a delicate balance with technology in our lives!!!!
In 100 years things will be very different and at the rate that technology is evolving things will probably be fully automated using technology in the future. I think that if technology is used well it can be a real advantage to our society and help us with our problems such as global warming or sourcing clean energy and reducing our wastes on ur planet.
I believe that in 100 years technology will have advanced but mainly for entertainment. I’m assuming people will be more interested in playing games than going outside. This will lead to less interactions, however I do not believe it will completely replace in person meetings. We are social creatures and will always seek to connect with others. I do think that we won’t be as healthy either since we will be indoors and sitting down more often though. I also expect to see an increase in online school enrollments. I do not think this is a bad thing though, because this would mean that education is easier to access for everyone and we wouldn’t we wasting as much money on on supplies like pencils or notebooks. There will always be new and exciting inventions that come out, but we have to acknowledge the disadvantages too.
I think that the world will be full of technology in 100 years. I think that the technology will be so advanced that it will look so different from now. I also think that we were to go there now we would be so confused. It think that the more the technology continues to advance the less people time people have time to go outside and play because they are too busy on their phones,so in 100 years no one will be playing outside. I think that in 100 years the technology will be so advanced that we will have the technology for everything we do in life .
In 100 years the earth will be filled with technology. We already use technology for a lot of things so in 100 years it will be everything. Earth will be advancing at such a fast rate. Science and medicine will be evolved to the point where a disease or virus won't ever be a threat because they would be able to breakdown and cure it instantly. I also think that as it evolves human interaction will become super limited because we won't need other humans for tasks. I’m assuming that robots will also be helping us with everyday tasks and jobs humans can’t or won’t do.
The technological world is always developing, as we can see from the videos Apple just released of the new iPhones, watches, and televisions. I think that our world will continue to develop as it is, until it starts to become a problem. People will be replaced by machines in workplaces, because robots would be more efficient, so there won’t be any income. This will cause poverty, of course, which will cause people to have to live on the streets, unclean and unhealthy. Climate change will continue to become a bigger and bigger problem, so hopefully in 100 years we will have developed the technologies that will allow interplanetary travel. In my opinion, the future for the human race looks pretty bleak, but it all depends on how fast technology develops.
in a hundred years we would probably have things in factories automated and cars automated. electric cars would definitely be the most used car. the world would definitely be hotter because of climate change and cancer and other focused diseases would be cured/almost. we would also have better AI that could mimic what we do( not perfectly) that's all I can say for now, depending on how much each project gets invested in (robotics, medicine) will effect the outcome as well
In one hundred years, I think this world will be filled with robots. We already consume most our time with technology. I basically am always on my phone. in 100 years I think this world will be very fake. I feel like everything will be electronic including trees and grass. I honestly am very scared for the future. we already are hooked onto technology and in 100 years it will be much more advanced.
in one hundred years I believe that robots and machines will have taken over the world. I believe this because even today machines are becoming more and more intelligence and eventually they will end up be as smart as us which is a bit frightening when you think of it because we created something that has almost the same intelligence of us. plus we as the human race are become more and more lazy which is just another opportunity for technology to over pass our intelligence.
I agree with pretty much everyone on this subject... Robots and technology will take over. With technology already a huge part in a society and continuously growing, at this rate the world will only consist of technology. This is one of the possible outcomes. The other is the zombie apocalypse begins and people have to start looting stores and killing others in order for survival eventually leading to the extinction of humans and possibly other species. Hopefully it it something like my first answer and not my second one.
I believe that in 100 years from now our world will be filled with artificial intelligence. There will be self driving cars, robots and many other things. All of these discoveries may seem great but they lead to bigger problems. Because artificial intelligence would be so advanced, people would become unemployed since the artificial intelligence would do the jobs for them. This can lead to health problems since the new advanced society would become lazy. What people fear the most about artificial intelligence is if they become too smart. For example, finally noticing that they are slaves to the human race and begin to form human like emotions. These emotions can lead to a rebellion, and a rebellion can lead to the end of the human race. Hopefully, this will not happen, but at the rate our technology is advancing, it might lead to those events.

I think that in 100 years we will have made so many thing automated, one thing will be automatic factories and also robots will replace all manual labor. We will have auto-driving cars because even today we have some auto-driving cars. We won't even need to type anything because it will all be by voice. We need never need to cook, go to school or even do homework. In conclusion I think that in 100 years the future will be so imaginable that we can not even think of what could happen.
100 years away from now is a very long time away, so I could only imaging how technology has evolved. To think how much technology could have improved is astonishing. All the new things, the added features, so much can be added and improved to what we have today. There a lot of flaws though, if technology completely takes over people will get no exercise and just sit on their devices all day. I know that's what a lot of people do today in the summer, but not all the time. It’s important to walk or run or just get outside once in awhile. If people are always on their phones that also means a lot more cyberbullying. Cyberbullying is a big problem and it will only get worse if everyone is always on their devices. It will have some benefits though, like helping to mass produce objects or more devices by programing robots and being able to do it from a click of a button. Maybe the phones will be built into our clothes, or even contact lenses that project a screen in front of your eyes.
100 years from now I feel like everything and everyone will rely on technology. Half the people in our society already do today so I can't even imagine what it would be like 100 years from now. I have a feeling that there will be robots roaming around everywhere and serving everyone so that no one will physically or even mentally have to do anything themselves. I'm actually scared thinking of it because no one will want to do anything themselves anymore because they won't have to. Maybe the'll have some kind of law on how much technology you're allowed to use within one day to make sure people still go to the gym, eat properly and have time to think themselves. I really wonder how much technology will evolve in the next hundred years, it's really cool coming up with different ideas as to what might or might not happen. Technology is already pretty amazing. For example, hover boards are like rolling shoes that you just have to lean in any direction you want to go. Maybe in 100 years they'll have hover boards that can read your mind as to what direction you want to go. Maybe they'll even have drones that deliver pizza's to your house, you knows.
I believe that the world will be full of technology in 100 years. I think we will use it for everything. It's going to be very different from now. DeleteI have multiple opinions on this matter, however I think the first of them is far more likely to become a reality than the second one.
ReplyDeleteThe first and more likely of my thoughts is that in a hundred years, technology will have become extremely advanced, to the point where we could never live our lives without it ever again. Things like virtual reality will have been taken to a whole new level, with things like special platforms or rooms filled with sorts of conveyor belts that you can use to walk in any direction without running into a real life wall, and like pressure suits that press against you upon an impact within a virtual world. Technology advancement might not be as good as we think.

Hopefully, this will not happen, but at the rate our technology is advancing, it might lead to those events.
ReplyDeleteI think that in 100 years we will have made so many thing automated, one thing will be automatic factories and also robots will replace all manual labor. We will have auto-driving cars because even today we have some auto-driving cars. We won't even need to type anything because it will all be by voice. We need never need to cook, go to school or even do homework. In conclusion I think that in 100 years the future will be so imaginable that we can not even think of what could happen.
ReplyDeleteThat's a really cool idea about the audio voice typing, would've never thought of that!

ReplyDelete100 years away from now is a very long time away, so I could only imaging how technology has evolved.
